We had family come up from California, so we all headed to the park. Once Amelia found her play buddy Corbin, they were off. They started off on the little kid slide. Amelia has to work up her bravery. She is not one to start off huge. She starts small and works her way up.
This isn't necessarily a good picture of Amelia, but I caught her famous unhappy, mad at you pose. Whenever we do something that she doesn't like or we tell her no, she will bring her arm back and swat at you. She doesn't actually hit, but you know she is mad. So, as the picture demonstrates, one of us did something that she didn't like or agree with.
We have now moved over to the big kids slide. Her hair looks so red in this picture. I don't notice it that much, but the other day a lady commented that we had a cute red haired, blue eyed little girl. Hmmm...made me think.
She wasn't quite confident to cross the bridge by herself, so she requested the assistance of her daddy.
Since she had him, he might as well escort her to the top of the slide, right?

Grinning all the way to the bottom. Corbin was always right behind her.

Of course, I had to capture the fun hair that always comes with sliding down slides. Talk about static.
