We are very blessed with all of the family and loved ones we have around us that we are able to celebrate Christmas with. We actually have 3 Christmas', but is is our normal and we wouldn't trade it for anything. Christmas Eve day we spend with my mom and grandma. We have a nice lunch and then let the kids go wild opening presents. This year Spencer wasn't able to join us as he was either stuck in the Las Vegas airport or the SLC airport. That is a whole other story. He arrived home about 8:30 pm Christmas Eve. Needless to say we learned a lesson that he won't be traveling anytime close to the holidays in the future.
Amelia opening up her very own Cars DVD. She was quite excited. She just loves that movie, except for the "lawnmower" part. (That is what she calls the Columbine/bull in the pasture)
I received this cool outdoor blanket. Once Amelia realized that it was silky, it became hers.

Off to my dad's. It has been tradition, even before my sister or I had kids, that we come back home and stay Christmas Eve night at my dad's. I load up all the presents, the kid, and the dog and head over for dinner and games.

Helping Amelia with her gifts. We let the kids open their gifts first and then send them off to play with their toys downstairs. Then us adults get to enjoy opening our gifts and ooh and aw over what everyone received.

Amelia's beautiful earrings. She kept coming back to me asking me to put them on, but then she would cover her ears and say it hurt and wouldn't put her hands down.
After we head home to drop off the dog, presents, and shower, we head over to Spencer's moms house for Christmas. She always does way too much and this year cooked a beautiful dinner; turkey, stuffing, the whole nine yards.
Amelia received a kids camera from her Nana. She was quite impressed with it and didn't want anyone giving her pointers (notice how it is upside down).

Your Christmas looked so fun! Was Spencer's hair that long in October or is he part Chia Pet and it just grows super fast?! Leah, I must say you looked beautiful in that Christmas morning shot! Lucky!
