New Bike

Spencer and I decided Amelia had graduated from the push bike and needed a trike. So we headed off to the store with the idea we would buy her a tricycle. Well, we were quite shocked when we discovered a plastic tricycle was the same price as a bike, so we opted for the bike. We also had to accessorize (as well as safety) with the helmet and knee pads. Amelia was quite excited and wanted her daddy to put the bike together right away. Once it was assembled, she wasn't too sure about it. It took a little convincing of Amelia that she was big enough for a big girl bike, but once her confidence was boosted, she was all for it.

Have to have on all of that safety gear before she can head out on the road.

One of Amelia's best friends, Brittany, helping her get used to the bike.

Of course, Bell has to be apart of the action.

Yeah, she got it. The bike even has tassels. Spencer wasn't going to put them on, but I don't think Amelia let him have a choice in that decision. Besides, it isn't a little girls bike without the tassels. My baby girl is growing up before my eyes. Before we know it, she will be requesting to have the training wheels taken off.

Brynna got a bike for her birthday and is completely content to know it's hers but have Maryn take over complete use of it, so not interested!
