Sunday March 16, Spencer was ordained an elder. It was an exciting day for the whole family. We were so blessed to have so much family come for the event. It has been a very long time since the siblings have been together.

Almost all of the wives, we were sad to not have Garry's wife Jenny be able to join us. We missed you Jenny. Nana stood in for pictures.
After the ordination, everyone headed back to our house. We had Blimpie sandwiches, chips, and cold pizza (what could be better).

The famous love child. Everyone has commented that Kenzie is the love child of Mike and Spencer...you decide? Regardless, it is a darling picture of Kenzie with her daddy and Uncle Spencer.
It was a really busy and long weekend. Poor Amelia was absolutely pooped. She was so worn out by Sunday afternoon that she asked her daddy for a movie, Spencer put on Aladdin. I went up to check on her and this was what I found. (Aladdin and Abu were still in the market place stealing fruit.)
All-in-all it was a really nice weekend. Both Spencer and I are really appreciative for all those that came down for his ordination. Garry flew in from Alaska, Krista and Karl drove from Nebraska, Mike and Lindsey from Provo UT, Joe and Hillary from St. George UT, and Dad and Mom McLean, Courtney, Matt and Lauren from Provo UT, plus all of the local family. It was fun to see everyone and catch up. Thank you for all your love and blessings.

Thanks for holding the festivities so that we could all get together. It was so fun to see everyone and spend time together. The pictures turned out really well and hope you don't mind but I have stolen most of them! Loved the "love child" picture. It totally made me laugh!
My mom had told me Spencer was going to get ordained and that all the sibs were coming. How very special for Spencer! I LOVED all the pictures and it was so good seeing the whole crew together!

Congratulations Spencer! It looked like so much fun to have all of the family together. What a wonderful bunch of memories that were made! I miss family.
Looking at your pictures I am reminded that Family is Everything! How wonderful that you could all be together again for such a special occasion. Spence we are so proud of you, and happy for this huge step you chose to take in your life. May it be the first of many!
