Phoenix here we come...

Amelia and I were blessed to be able to head to warm Phoenix and visit our good friends the Spencer's. My girlfriend has a little boy named Wyatt that was born in November, so he and Amelia are just the perfect age. The plane ride went quite smoothly and thankful it was a direct flight as Spencer wasn't there to help me with the car seat, which ended up being quite a heavy lug through the airport. I was so grateful that Amelia would walk, except when it came to the moving walking escalator. That freaked her out a bit. Well we arrived in beautiful warm Phoenix. Jeri picked us up and we headed home. We had barely arrived in the house and Amelia wanted "side" (outside). She just couldn't wait to go out and play.

Jeri has the perfect backyard with the best gazebo to sit outside under and watch the children from. Amelia was thrilled with the puppy Lady who was always tagging along.

Wyatt gained a little sister in January, little Jane. She is so cute and I had forgotten how truly little they are. It was hard remembering that Amelia was that little.

Amelia was really sweet with baby Jane. In the past, she did not like it when I would hold babies or even when a dog would sit in my lap. She did great, she had no objections when I was holding Jane. I even caught her giving Jane kisses. So sweet...

Bath time. This was actually quite funny. Wyatt likes to have all of his toys in the bath with him. Amelia likes to have nothing bobbing around her, only what she is playing with immediately in her hand. So the humorous part was watching Amelia pick each toy out and put it on the edge of the tub and then watch Wyatt knock them back in and Amelia having a fit. A vicious cycle that they each didn't quite understand.
