Our Beautiful View

We had the most gorgeous view from our hotel room. It doesn't hurt at all to be right on the beach. We would open the door and just listen to the waves. One day we were looking out in the ocean and saw a pod of dolphins swimming along the shore. That was pretty cool.

One of the best things about this beach was that it wasn't crowded at all. These pictures show the average number of people on the beach on any given day. It was so nice not to have to worry about finding a spot, not that we had to worry about that with Amelia.

Ohhh...to go back and have this outside my door.

Amelia has this thing about sinks...she loves them. She loves to play with the soap and wash her hands and feet and get everything around her sopping wet. I thought this was a classic picture, cute little bum and Spencer conducting business in the best place possible.

It was so strange to have this gorgeous view in the morning. I am so used to the West coast where I get to witness the sunsets. Well, on the East Coast, we had to get up at 4 am to witness the sunset. I have to admit, it was worth it. They were breathtaking.

We didn't have a family picture on the beach, so we thought we should get at least one before we left. Well, the minute we started to walk towards the beach, Amelia started screaming. We tried telling her that we weren't going into the water, but she wasn't listening. Again, she wanted to go to time out. So this was our family picture, as best as we could.

When we started to walk back to the board walk, Amelia calmed down. I thought we might be able to get a better picture, so take two. At least she isn't screaming and crying. O.K. I'm done catching up on our June trip to Florida. It has only taken me two months.

Wow! How did you manage to pull yourselves away from there? What amazing views... it looks so peaceful. Returning from vacation is always the hardest part for me!
