Apple Picking

So, I am finally getting around to catching up on my blogging. Back in October a group of us headed to Emmett, ID to do some apple picking. When we loaded up Spencer was giving me some dirty looks as the sky was just black with thunder clouds. It poured on us driving out there, but we were blessed and the beautiful blue sky showed itself as we picked apples until our hearts were content. When we loaded back up and were headed home, it poured again. What can I say...we have perfect timing.

Amelia heading to go pick up her basket.

The orchard was so beautiful and has such a fun and magical feel to it, even Spencer got in the picking spirit.

Reach real high Amelia...

Spencer had no problem tasting the merchandise. Notice his mouth is full of apple.

Amelia really enjoyed herself. She thought it was pretty cool pulling apples from the trees.

Putting her treasure in her very own basket.

On to the next tree.

Yup, still there. We did have one instance where the basket took a tumble. She was not happy.

My little girl.

The two best-of-buddies. They didn't realize we were watching them. Corbin would take one bite out of an apple and then choose another one to sample. I'm not sure how many apples my sister actually made it home with that didn't have little bites out of them.

Corbin explaining the fundamentals of apples and Amelia not quite sure she believes him.

O.K. maybe she'll try one.

Caught...

We had such a fun time, spending the day with family and friends. And the best thing of all...we came home with the most delicious apples.

I love the picture of Amelia standing with her hands on her hips staring at her cousin! Too stinkin' cute!

Looks like you guys had a great time, but I'm fairly certain that eating the fruit off the tree is considered theft. If you don't report yourselves, then I'm going to have to contact the police myself. Sorry, rules are rules.

I can't get over how you look just the same as you did in HIgh school. You are definately aging very well. Or not aging at all is more like it....
